STANDARDThis is the hose assembly that bolts to the back of the stock A6 compressor, connecting it to the POA Valve (includes the specialized "sheppards hook" fitting) at the firewall and to the top fitting on the condenser in front of the radiator support. Made of all new components, including barrier hose that is compatible with both R12 and 134a refrigerants.
***NOTE - Some 1970-Early 1972 hoses originally came with a muffler built into the manifold assembly. This hose assembly does not incorporate the muffler assembly, but still functions just as well. This assembly can be used as a direct replacement with no modifications.
***NOTE - Some 1970 models used a variety of different condenser fittings, among them, standard o-ring, fare and quick disconnect. This hose assembly ONLY works with the o-ring style condenser.
