Instructions:
- Prepare the work area and remove surrounding trim pieces as needed to access the headliner edge.
- Clean the headliner channel or trim edge with a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and old adhesive.
- Position the headliner fabric over the panel and align it to the opening or channel where it will be tucked.
- Hold the fabric taut and insert the Precision Headliner Insert Tool PRP 0066 tip between the fabric and the channel, gently guiding the fabric into the opening.
- Work in small sections, advancing the tool along the channel while keeping even tension on the fabric to avoid wrinkles or bunching.
- If re-bonding is required, apply a small amount of headliner adhesive per manufacturer instructions before tucking each section.
- Trim any excess fabric with scissors or a utility knife once the fabric is fully seated, and reinstall trim pieces to secure the edge.
- Inspect the perimeter for even seating and smooth out any minor imperfections with the tool or by hand. Allow any adhesive to cure fully before driving.
