Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface, open and securely prop the hood.
- If present, remove any trim or fasteners obstructing access to the existing support bars.
- Loosen but do not fully remove the bolts attaching the fender apron and radiator support to allow slight movement for alignment.
- Remove the old support bars and position the new chrome bars between the fender apron and radiator support; hand-thread the mounting bolts.
- Adjust each bar and the fender position to achieve the desired panel gap and alignment before fully tightening.
- Tighten bolts evenly and securely. If factory torque specs are available, use them; otherwise tighten to a firm, even setting (approximately 15–25 ft-lbs as a general guideline).
- Reinstall any removed trim or components, lower the hood, inspect gaps visually, and take a short test drive to confirm elimination of vibration or rattles.
