A memorable moment for the Camaro in 1969 was the role of pace car for that year’s Indianapolis 500 famously won by Mario Andretti. The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible Indy 500 pace car and many of the replica models sold were among versions of the bowtie-wearing sports machine to feature seats upholstered with a charming houndstooth/vinyl combination.
