Outer tie rod end designed for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro (both right and left hand applications). This precision-forged steering component connects the steering rack to the steering knuckle, translating driver input into wheel movement while maintaining alignment and safe handling. Built to withstand road stresses, it restores steering responsiveness, reduces play, and helps prevent premature tire wear. Durable construction and sealed joint protection deliver reliable performance for restoration, repair, or routine maintenance.
Features:
  • Fits 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro — outer tie rod end, right or left hand
  • Forged metal construction for strength and impact resistance
  • Ball joint with protective boot to reduce contamination and extend service life
  • Restores steering precision, reduces play, and helps prevent uneven tire wear
  • Direct-fit replacement for easy installation and proper wheel alignment
  • Ideal for repair, maintenance, and restoration projects
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 45-90 minutes (per side)
Suggested Tools:
  • Floor jack and jack stands
  • Lug wrench
  • Wrenches and sockets (metric and SAE as required)
  • Tie rod end puller or pickle fork
  • Torque wrench
  • Measuring tape or caliper
  • Marker or paint pen
  • Penetrating oil
Instructions:
  1. Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, and loosen the wheel lug nuts slightly.
  2. Raise the vehicle with a floor jack and secure it on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
  3. Locate the outer tie rod end at the steering knuckle. Apply penetrating oil to fasteners if necessary.
  4. Mark the position of the old tie rod end on the inner tie rod or measure from a fixed reference so alignment can be approximated before final alignment.
  5. Loosen the jam nut on the inner tie rod that secures the outer tie rod end.
  6. Remove the cotter pin (if present) and loosen the castle nut or retaining nut on the tie rod end stud.
  7. Use a tie rod end puller or pickle fork to separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle, taking care not to damage surrounding components.
  8. Unscrew the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod the same number of turns measured during removal, or until it reaches the marked position.
  9. Install the new outer tie rod end by threading it onto the inner tie rod to the marked position. Tighten the jam nut to secure it.
  10. Insert the tie rod end stud into the steering knuckle and install the retaining nut. Torque to manufacturer specification and install a new cotter pin if required.
  11. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the wheel lug nuts to specification.
  12. Have a professional wheel alignment performed to ensure correct toe and prevent uneven tire wear.
