Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and support front end with jack stands or ramps if needed for access.
- Inspect the bumper valance and mounting area; remove any damaged or loose original parts and clean the surface of dirt and rust.
- Test-fit the spoiler to the valance to verify alignment with existing holes and bodylines. Use masking tape to protect painted surfaces during fitment.
- If required, mark any new hole locations on the valance while holding the spoiler in position. Transfer marks from the spoiler to the valance using a center punch.
- Drill pilot holes at marked locations if the vehicle lacks existing mounting holes. Start with a small bit and enlarge as needed to match fastener size.
- Attach the spoiler using the appropriate fasteners through the valance into the spoiler mounting points. Hand-start all fasteners to ensure alignment before final tightening.
- Tighten fasteners evenly to secure the spoiler, taking care not to overtighten and deform the part. Use a torque wrench if torque specifications are available.
- Verify final alignment and gaps. Touch up any installation scuffs and finish the spoiler with paint if necessary following proper surface preparation and paint instructions.
- Re-check hardware after a short test drive and retorque if necessary.
