Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, set parking brake and disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Open trunk and remove trunk trim, carpeting, and any access panels to expose the tail lamp area.
- Remove tail lamp lenses, bezels and bulbs; label wiring connectors or take reference photos to ensure correct reassembly.
- Disconnect the tail lamp wiring harness from the panel and carefully move wiring aside.
- Remove fasteners securing the old tail lamp panel (bolts, screws, and any spot welds if previously modified) and carefully remove the old panel.
- Clean and inspect the mounting area; remove loose rust, apply rust inhibitor or primer to bare metal as needed.
- Test-fit the replacement panel, align it to factory mounting points and secure loosely with hardware. Check lamp fitment and alignment before final tightening.
- Tighten mounting hardware to snug or to factory torque if available. Apply seam sealer or RTV at panel seams where necessary to prevent water intrusion.
- Reconnect the wiring harness and reinstall bulbs, tail lamp lenses, bezels and trunk trim.
- Reconnect the battery and test all tail lamp functions (brake, turn, reverse, and running lights). Make final adjustments if required and resecure interior trim.
