This neutral safety and backup lamp switch is an OEM-style replacement designed for classic restoration of 1979–1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models equipped with automatic transmissions, as well as 1981–1986 Chevrolet and GMC C/K Pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models and 1987–1991 Chevrolet and GMC R/V series trucks and SUVs. Manufactured as an exact-fit reproduction, this switch installs in the factory location to restore proper starter interlock function and reverse lamp activation. Intended for direct installation, it provides factory-correct operation for stock restorations of Camaro and Firebird F-Body models and Chevy and GMC C/K, C/10, squarebody, and R/V truck platforms.

Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
