This throttle cable is an OEM-style replacement designed for 1974–1979 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with inline 6-cylinder (L6) engines on the F-Body platform, 1974–1976 Pontiac Firebird models with L6 engines, and 1978–1979 Pontiac Firebird models equipped with the 403 Oldsmobile V8 engine. Manufactured to factory specifications for length and configuration, this cable connects the accelerator pedal linkage to the carburetor throttle arm to ensure proper throttle response and operation. Intended for restoration and service replacement, it supports factory-style fit and function in original carbureted engine applications for 1974–1979 Camaro and Firebird models.

Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
