The Gas Door Emblem – “Z28” (Charcoal) – 1980-1981 Camaro is the factory-correct badge that finishes your late second-gen tail panel. Trim Parts reproduces the original GM piece in zinc die-cast for razor-sharp edges, then copper, nickel, and chrome plates it for deep shine before filling the recessed face with the exact charcoal gray used on 1980-1981 Z28 fuel doors. Stud spacing matches the stock gas-door holes, and OE barrel nuts are included—slide it on, tighten, and your Camaro broadcasts its performance pedigree with chrome that defies pitting, fuel splash, and UV fade.

Auto Metal Direct is a team of true car guys with years of experience in sheet metal reproduction, car restoration and paint/body work. We believe that quality is not subjective! Our mission is to provide the best customer experience for the Ford, Mopar and GM classic car markets - both in products and in service.
Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
