The Gas Door Emblem – “Z28” (Orange) – 1980-1981 Camaro brings back late-second-gen attitude in a ten-minute swap. Trim Parts recreates the original GM badge in zinc die-cast for razor-sharp edges, lays down copper, nickel, and mirror-bright chrome, then hand-fills the face with vivid orange enamel and charcoal shadowing found on select ’80-’81 Z28 fuel doors. Stud spacing matches the factory gas-door holes on every coupe, and OE-style barrel nuts are included—slide the studs through, tighten, and your Camaro once again flaunts its performance pedigree. Triple-plated chrome shrugs off pitting, fuel splash, and UV fade, while precise tab length keeps the emblem flush so the door opens cleanly without paint rub.

Auto Metal Direct is a team of true car guys with years of experience in sheet metal reproduction, car restoration and paint/body work. We believe that quality is not subjective! Our mission is to provide the best customer experience for the Ford, Mopar and GM classic car markets - both in products and in service.
Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
