The Grille Emblem – “SS 427” – 1968 Camaro (Standard) is the finishing touch that shouts big-block muscle at a glance. Trim Parts die-casts the badge in zinc, triple-chromes it, then hand-details the black background and bright red numbers for show-worthy depth. Designed for the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro standard grille (non-RS), it clips into the factory slots with the included speed nuts—no drilling, no guesswork. Thick chrome resists pitting, and precise lettering restores that factory crispness lost on pitted originals. Whether you’re building a COPO-inspired clone or updating a survivor, this emblem gives your front end the authentic SS look in minutes.

Auto Metal Direct is a team of true car guys with years of experience in sheet metal reproduction, car restoration and paint/body work. We believe that quality is not subjective! Our mission is to provide the best customer experience for the Ford, Mopar and GM classic car markets - both in products and in service.
Our panels are made from proper gauge steel and include all correct-as-original clips, tabs, flanges, bends and seams. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
