This left front fender with extension is a direct-fit replacement for 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport models. It restores factory contours and mounting locations to protect the wheelwell and engine bay, maintain correct panel alignment, and return your vehicle’s appearance and structural integrity after collision damage or during a restoration. Manufactured from durable stamped steel with corrosion-resistant surface treatment, the panel offers reliable long-term performance and straightforward fitment for enthusiasts and repair shops alike.
Features:
  • Fits 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport — left front (driver side) with extension
  • Stamped steel construction with factory-style contours for authentic appearance
  • Includes fender extension to ensure proper gap and alignment to bumper and door
  • Protects wheelwell and engine compartment while restoring structural support
  • Corrosion-resistant surface treatment for improved durability prior to painting
  • Engineered as a direct replacement to simplify restoration and collision repairs
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 2-4 hours
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set (8–15 mm)
  • Ratchet and extension
  • Torque wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat & Phillips)
  • Trim / panel clip pliers
  • Floor jack and jack stands
  • Wheel chocks
  • Work light
  • Rust-inhibiting primer and seam sealer
  • Masking tape and sanding supplies
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface, set parking brake and place wheel chocks; disconnect the negative battery terminal if removing lighting or electrical components.
  2. Remove the wheel for easier access to inner fender fasteners and the splash shield.
  3. Carefully remove trim pieces, bumper or grille components, headlight assemblies and inner splash shield that attach to or obstruct the fender mounting locations.
  4. Support adjacent panels (hood, door) and note factory gap locations; mark alignment reference points with masking tape if needed.
  5. Unbolt all fender mounting fasteners (under hood, along A-pillar, at bumper, door jamb and inner wheelhouse). Keep hardware organized for reassembly.
  6. Remove the damaged fender and clean mating surfaces; treat exposed metal with rust-inhibiting primer as needed.
  7. Test-fit the replacement fender and extension, checking gaps at the hood, door and bumper. Adjust shims or mounting locations as required for even gaps and proper alignment.
  8. Once satisfied with fitment, tighten bolts progressively to factory torque specs, reinstall removed trim, headlight, bumper and splash shield components.
  9. Apply seam sealer to exposed joints and prime/paint the panel to match the vehicle’s finish before final reassembly if not pre-finished.
  10. Reinstall wheel, lower the vehicle, reconnect battery, and perform a final inspection of gaps, fastener tightness and lighting operation. Seek professional help if alignment or fit issues persist.
