Precision Beltline Molding Kit WFP 1412 82 is an inner left and right pair of beltline moldings engineered to restore the door/window beltline area and provide a clean, finished appearance. These direct-replacement moldings secure interior trim, help seal the window run to reduce wind noise and water intrusion, and align glass travel for smooth operation. Constructed with a corrosion-resistant metal core and an OEM-style protective finish, the kit delivers long-lasting durability and reliable fitment for restoration or maintenance projects. Easy to install, the pair is ideal for replacing worn, bent, or missing inner beltline trim and bringing the vehicle back to proper form and function.
Features:
- Inner left and right pair (WFP 1412 82) — direct replacement beltline moldings
- Durable metal core with corrosion-resistant, OEM-style finish
- Secures and aligns interior trim while helping seal against water and wind noise
- Restoration-grade fit and appearance to replace worn or damaged beltline trim
- Simple installation with common hand tools; designed for reliable, long-term use
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Verify fitment: compare the new moldings to the originals and confirm part number WFP 1412 82 matches the vehicle application.
- Prepare the work area: park on a level surface, lower the window slightly (if applicable), and remove any trim screws or interior panels that obstruct access to the beltline area.
- Remove old molding: gently pry out the existing inner beltline molding using a trim tool and pliers as needed, taking care not to damage the door flange or paint.
- Clean mounting surface: remove old adhesive residue and dirt with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth; ensure the surface is dry and free of debris.
- Test-fit new molding: position the new inner molding along the beltline to confirm alignment and that any clip locations match the vehicle.
- Secure molding: install using the supplied or vehicle OEM retaining clips/fasteners. If adhesive is required, apply a suitable automotive adhesive per manufacturer instructions and press the molding firmly into place. Use a rubber mallet with a protective pad to seat the molding evenly without marring the finish.
- Reassemble: reinstall any interior panels or trim removed in step 2 and tighten screws to OEM torque where applicable.
- Final check: cycle the window (if applicable) to ensure smooth operation and inspect for gaps, water seals, and proper fit. Replace any damaged clips or repeat sealing where necessary.
